The new Thermix has arrived.

Ensinger will be exhibiting two new warm edge spacers, the Thermix TX Pro and the Thermix Low Psi, at glasstec 2016.

Nufringen (Germany), September 23, 2016 - At this year's Glasstec in Düsseldorf (September 20-23, 2016, Hall 15, Stand G21), plastics specialist Ensinger will be presenting two new products for the thermal separation in insulation glazing.

With Thermix TX Pro, Ensinger has given the Thermix TX.N Plus spacer a facelift. The changes made are aimed at optimising the workability while maintaining a comparable level of stability. Overall, the new spacer design is lighter, which minimises inertia. As this reduces vibrations, the spacer frame is subjected to less stress during the bending process. The Thermix TX Pro, which also has a slightly lower psi value, will gradually replace the previous model, the Thermix TX.N Plus, from the start of 2017.

Low Psi

Furthermore, Ensinger is giving visitors to the trade fair a preview of the Thermix Low Psi. As the name suggests, this plastic spacer with barrier film boasts a particularly low psi value. “We plan to start production of the Thermix Low Psi in mid-2017”, explains Dr. Albert Lingens, Head of Sales at Ensinger. “However, we are happy to provide samples for tests by the end of the year. This will allow interested manufacturers to carry out all the necessary tests in advance”.

Both spacers will be available in the standard colours black and light grey, while special colours will be available on request.

About Thermix

Thermix spacers improve the thermal separation of insulated glass windows, doors and facades. This helps save energy and consequently heating and cooling costs as well as cutting carbon emissions. As an insulated glazing edge bond system, Thermix spacers provide a “warm edge”. In addition, Thermix muntin bars produce the appearance of a genuine lattice window but with an excellent level of insulation. Both products can be simply and efficiently processed. Specially developed corner keys and straight connectors ensure well-fitting and secure connections every time. Thermix is a brand of Ensinger, one of the leading specialists in high-performance plastics. For more information, go to: www.thermix.de/en
