Distinctive corporate communication

oha communication is nominated for the 2012 German Design Award

Frankfurt on the Main / Stuttgart (Germany), July 20, 2011 – The German Design Council has nominated oha communication’s corporate design for the 2012 German Design Award. The competition scouts innovative and international design trends – design that differentiates. The winners of the most prominent German design award will be honored at a prize giving ceremony on February 10, 2012.

oha communication focuses on a distinctive appearance that ensures high recognition value with journalists, customers and applicants. “The communication design that was developed with Engenhart Stuttgart is clear and internationally comprehensible”, praises Oliver Frederik Hahr, founder of the Stuttgart-based consultancy and agency for Public Relations. “It is versatile and at the same time helps to attract attention with functional and surprising ideas.”

„This nomination for the German Design Award particularly honors the courage to constantly develop the visual appearance in a creative way,” said Marc Engenhart. “oha communication succeeds in continually rephrasing the moment of astonishment and comprehension in a vibrant and effective way with texts, pictures and corporate design. After all, a message has to come out on top in the daily information floods.”

The German Design Award is bestowed annually for pioneering and marketable product and communication design by the German Design Council. Companies may not apply for this design award, but must be nominated. In addition, the projects must have received an award already. oha communication’s corporate design was honored with the iF Communication Design Award in 2010.

The German Design Award is the country’s highest design commendation. It is issued and judged by the German Design Council. Within the industry, it is considered the “Prize of Prizes” for two reasons. First, it is not possible to “apply” for this award. To be considered, projects must be nominated by the German Design Council. In addition, only projects that have already received a national or international award are eligible for consideration. Simply being nominated for the “Prize of Prizes” for outstanding achievement in the fields of product and communication design is an honor in itself. www.german-design-council.de
